Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit has to be set in order to lock in your date and time for makeup. The deposit will go towards your service the day of. 


Bookings done with Marina are anywhere from 9 months to 1year  prior. Occasionally I do have openings during the year, so always write in the day you are requesting in your email or text. It will make it easier to see if I have your day available.

Permanent makeup is a specialized technique used for permanent cosmetics and also refer to micro pigmentation. The process includes a free consultation, the application of pigment, and one follow-up visit.  During the follow-up visit, the area is evaluated and touch ups are added where needed to perfect the look.

if you would like to look your best at all times, are you a busy mom or career woman and don’t have the time to fill in your eyebrows, or if you dislike wearing makeup and would rather keep it natural but still have perfect eyebrows then it’s definitely for you.  This is also perfect for people who live a very active, always on the go life who don’t have to worry about their makeup getting smeared.

Below is a list of circumstances in which permanent make is not recommended. 

Had Botox or any other facial aesthetic procedures in the past 30 days.

Sick with the cold, flu etc.

Pregnant or nursing.

Have a viral infection and / or diseases.

Undergoing Chemotherapy.

Skin irritation such as Rosacea or psoriasis near the area being worked on.

Have had an organ transplant.

Have a pacemaker or any major heart problems.

You’ve used Accutane in the past year.

Who should not get Permanent Makeup?

It is normal to experience some tenderness and swelling immediately following the procedure and for a few days after. The pigment will appear darker and more vibrant than how it will actually look when it is healed.  Healing varies with each person but generally take between 5 to 8 days.  60% of the color will fade to a natural soft brow color.

Permanent makeup lasts for years the exact length of time varies depending on skin type, lifestyle and exposure to the sun.  To maximize the duration, please follow the after treatment care provided and always cover treated area when in the sun.

Permanent skin pigmentation procedure carries with it known and unknown complications and consequences associated with this type of cosmetic procedure, including but not limited to; infection, scarring, inconsistent color, and spreading, fanning or fading of pigments. The actual color of the pigment may modify slightly, due to the tone and color of your skin.

To maximize the procedure, it is important that you follow the procedures listed below prior to your scheduled visit. 

Do not take Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin or Vitamin E 24 hours before your procedure. 

No tanning in or outdoors or have a sunburned face.

No waxing or tint 3 days before.

No work outs the day of.

Do not drink alcohol or caffeine the day of the procedure.

Do keep in mind that if you are scheduled during your menstrual cycle you will be more sensitive.

To ensure that you have long lasting results, please follow the aftercare procedures outlined below.

Absolutely no cleansers, creams, makeup or any other products on treated area for 2 weeks.

No water on treated area either.

Keep the area clean and sterile.

Don’t scratch, rub or pick at the area, let it heal on its own.  Scabbing or dry skin are normal and a part of the process so let it heal naturally.

Avoid sleeping on your face for as long as possible but specifically for at least 10 days. 

Do not get any other treatments on or near the area such as botox, facials, chemical peels or microdermabrasion for at least one month.  

Avoid the sun for at least a month and if you can’t help it, always cover the treated area.  

Avoid heavy sweating for at least two weeks, so that means NO working out.  Sorry ladies!

You should expect to book a maintenance appointment every 12-18 months.  With that said, some factors will effect fading more quickly for some verses others.  These factors include, but are not limited to the following:

Not taking proper care of procedure area after treatment.

Sunbathing or using sun beds.

Using Retin A creams, or any other products that contain AHA’s, Glycolic or Vitamin A.

Certain skin treatments such as microdermabrasion or chemical peels.

Certain skin conditions and or excessively dry/oily skin types.

Specific medications which are known to cause increased fading.

Excessive use of alcohol.

Swimming in chlorinated pools
